About Us

Plaza Barber was started in 1998 by Martha Sosa. After receiving her Bachelors Degree in Education, Martha knew her passion was in cosmetology. She and her mother had a blast running her first shop with her called les Girls in Cambell which she owned and operated for 20 years. Martha got married and moved to Capitola in the early 90's while working as a manager of the JC Penny Hair Salon. She founded Plaza Barber in 1998 and can proudly say that she has performed over 30,000 haircuts!
